Screening of the Fiskars Company History Documentary

On Independence Day, 6 December 2025, the Fiskars company history documentary will be shown in the Degersjö room at The Torby Hotel (on the lower floor of the main building). The 45-minute film tells the company’s story and its significance in Finland’s industrial history.

The screening runs continuously from 9:00 to 22:00

Independence Day Walking Tour in the Ironworks

What was the ironworks like in 1917, and what has happened since? What was everyday life like in the ironworks, and how did the industrial area evolve into today’s haven of art and design?

Join a guided tour where the guide leads you through stories and the traces of people, from the era of Finland’s independence to the present day.

Price: Adults €10, children 7–17 years €5, children under 7 free
